about the band
Lesti Huff Band has been playing shows in and around the San Antonio area since 1998. Her smokey raw vocals are a sure crowd pleaser. In the early years, she honed her singing/songwriting chops at small juke-joints like the Rusty Nail and Main Street Saloon. In 2001, she won the Humble Time Radio Show award for upcoming female artist. Shortly after that she landed a regular gig at Cafe Soleil in San Antonio where she preluded for several local and national acts. After going though several band incarnations, Lesti settled on a group of tried and true musicians she now proudly calls the Lesti Huff Band consisting of Kelly Hoppers on Bass Guitar; Michael Hicks on percussion and drums; Ray Symzyck on Mandolin, lead guitar, and accordion; and Lesti Huff on rhythm guitar and lead vocals. The Lesti Huff Band completed their first studio production in 2009 with 'Where was the Love?' which has been played on college radio in San Antonio and San Marcus, and has also been featured on Rebel Radio KFAN in Fredericksburg. Their second album, titled 'Reckless One,' was released in 2014. You catch the band at regular haunts throughout the Texas region. Come on out!
